LAW OR LOVE?

Would you rather be lawful than be lovable? Sometimes we get so carried away in little petty stuff and neglect the big ones. What is most important in life? Look around you and observe the things that evolve around you and note what really matters in life. War or peace, law or love, being justified or unwarranted? You can only decide what you want, and with your decision lies the consequences of choice. Remember, you are responsible for what you allow or will not allow in your life. What will you go on with the legacy or the wealth? You could be the highest scorer but the biggest failure in life. It has nothing to do with the trophies, the fame or the celebrations; it has everything to do with the people you have affected, impacted and influence! Who are you? Really? You need to ask yourself these questions else you will wake up at the end of life’s journey and realized that the fanciful houses and cars, designers clothes, costly jewelry and good food was all vanities- asked the wisest man on earth- when you love these things, you show that you do not really love God and the most important things in life are what you’ve missed, to love and honor God and invest in humans can’t be overemphasized, it’s the only thing! So if your life is not reflecting your love for God and mankind then you have missed the mark.
I laugh when I see spirit-filled, tongue speaking believers and religious practitioners go looking so holy and doing unspeakable deeds that brings tears to the eyes of others and still have the mind to portray the holier-than-thou attitude before God. Who are you deceiving? You can’t serve God and Mammon! Your affections clearly show where your loyalty is. There’s no way you can love God and the fear of God is not in you. It’s will caution your every move and thought. It will guide you through the right path and character. You will have the mindset of God, of integrity, humility, love, forgiveness, joy and gentleness. That spirit propels you to want to do what God says not just because it is right but because you are like Him, made in His image. Nothing matters to you than pleasing Him, yeah! You can have all He says you can have but those things are not what your affection is set on. The wisdom of God helps you die to sin, material things and their grip over you, you are not spending time chasing after evils desires, but will be anxious to do the will of God such that though they perish, you are still standing, though people mock or trouble you, you are not move but love them still and you are at peace with everyone, owing no man than being at peace and lovingly accepting them, the way they are.
Keeping the laws are not necessary for people who walk in love, the law was meant for correction to checkmate those who have gone off the right path so they can know when and where they have gone wrong. As a lover of God love guides you to respect people, to understand their flaws, to help them grow in strength and become better. Judging people and condemning them does not change them but correcting in love does. Seek out their strength and encourage them, then their weakness becomes minimal. You don’t teach others by talking, nagging, quarreling, and pointing fingers but you teach them by example. If you become they will follow, if you are they will become. It is that simple!
You should stop being right and start being good. Apply wisdom and do good to people, do it even when you don’t feel like, sometimes you don’t need to be right, sometimes it doesn’t have to be right, you just have to be factual. Oh! That your parent, your husband or your boss did something that hurt you and you feel bad, should you disrespect him? No! God no! The law says it is wrong, but love says respect no matter what. The fact is he is your husband, parent or boss and God has placed you under their authority, the right thing is to stay humble or face the consequences and these are things that wisdom will teach you!
Wisdom will direct you, not because you need to know the truth but it will warn you to discern the difference between true and false, right and good and this wisdom is profitable to direct you in all your dealings! Be Good!!
