The relationship we have with God is compared many times as
a relationship between a man and a woman. The church is God’s bride and the
Lord shower the body of Christ with His love. Hebrews 13 vs 4 says that, marriage is honourable to God
because it is the reflection of the union of God the Father, the Son and the
Holy Spirit (Genesis 1 vs 26, ‘And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness :’). His goal for marriage is
to be one with us. He wants us to experience the same type of oneness that is
shared with Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit and Himself. Therefore, we are the
reflection of their image as a spirit being, but possesses a soul which resides
in a body - created for God’s own pleasure – spirit, soul and body – a reflection
of God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. God instituted marriage to practise
the reflection of this oneness. (Genesis 2 vs 24, ‘therefore shall a man leave his father and
his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh’).
Sex was not intended to be enjoyed outside of marriage, it
was made for marriage and procreation. This intimacy and oneness is what we are
to enjoy first with God in trinity then with a husband or wife. Sex is an act
of worship, - you lay down your spirit,
soul and body, surrendering all you are to your lover in an act that sometimes
isn’t up to five minutes, exchanging blood and soul ties with all his/her past
lovers in just one moment and sometimes, for someone who won’t give a thought
towards you afterwards or sacrifice his/her own life for you - this intimacy
was what God intended to have with His children, (Ezekiel 16 vs 8, ‘I have caused thee to multiply as the bud of
the field, and thou hast increased and waxen great, and thou art come to
excellent ornaments: thy breasts are fashioned, and thine hair is grown,
whereas thou wast naked and bare. Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon
thee, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread my skirt over thee,
and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant
with thee, saith the Lord GOD, and thou becamest mine). Wisdom is profitable,
don’t live carelessly anymore, (1 Peter 4vs 2 says, ‘That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the
lusts of men, but to the will of God’). When you experience the fellowship of
and the communion with God, the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit what you have
is an orgasm much greater than the climax of sexual intercourse. Like , Romans
12 vs 1 says, ‘I beseech you
therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a
living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable
service’. Serve God with your
whole being, spirit, soul and body with all you are and have.
God hates adultery and fornication (Galatians 5 vs 19, ‘Now the works of the flesh
are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness,
lasciviousness,’) it is a sin
that is directly against God - for don’t you know that your body is the temple
of God, ‘1 Corinthians 6 vs19’? This is the only sin committed against your own
body. Once you commit it, the Lord turns His face away from you, for He will
not behold sin. It is an abomination to the Lord. He sees it as an idolatry,
harlotry and blood shed, (Ezekiel 23 vs 37, ‘That they have committed adultery, and blood is in their hands,’).
The sin of fornication and adultery defiles you as God’s temple and it is an
abomination, a sacrilege. 1 Corinthians 6 vs 16, asked, ‘And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the
temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in
them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people’. You virtually
slaughter your destiny and your seeds on its’ alter (sex), from that moment
your glory shifts. You start to smell, you lose your youthfulness, beauty and
even in most cases your health. You become filthy and stain with blood, (Ezekiel
24 vs 7, ‘For her blood is
in the midst of her; she set it upon the top of a rock; she poured it not upon
the ground, to cover it with dust
;’). You become forsaken and like
a city whom no man wants to enter. You are now like a filthy rag, people talk
about you and give you names. Instead of being the Lord’s pride and joy, you
are now a second class citizen, (Ezekiel 16 vs 35-41, ‘Wherefore, O harlot, hear the word of the LORD: Thus saith the Lord
GOD; Because thy filthiness was poured out, and thy nakedness discovered
through thy whoredoms with thy lovers, and with all the idols of thy
abominations, and by the blood of thy children, which thou didst give unto
them; Behold, therefore I will gather all thy lovers, with whom thou hast taken
pleasure, and all them that thou hast loved, with all them that thou hast
hated; I will even gather them roundabout against thee, and will discover thy
nakedness unto them, that they may see all thy nakedness. And I will judge
thee, as women that break wedlock and shed blood are judged; and I will give
thee blood in fury and jealousy. And I
will also give thee into their hand, and they shall throw down thine eminent
place, and shall break down thy high places: they shall strip thee also of thy
clothes, and shall take thy fair jewels, and leave thee naked and bare. They
shall also bring up a company against thee, and they shall stone thee with
stones, and thrust thee through with their swords. And they shall burn thine
houses with fire, and execute judgments upon thee in the sight of many women:
and I will cause thee to cease from playing the harlot, and thou also shalt
give no hire any more’). God’s presence leaves you, (Isaiah 57 vs 15, ‘for thus saith the high and
lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and
holy place,’). Then you get
consumed in your ways/passions and forget the Lord entirely. (Isaiah 47 vs 10, ‘for thou hast trusted in thy
wickedness: thou hast said, none seeth me. Thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it
hath perverted thee; and thou hast said in thine heart, I am, and none else beside
me’ and Isaiah 59 vs 2, says, ‘But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your
sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.’).
A lots of things are done in ignorance, there was no one to
tell you, none to guide in the right path but today, Jesus comes into your
heart, and He sits as an intercessor to intervene on behalf of the truth and
right. Showing you the way to victory and righteousness. God wants to be your husband,
(Isaiah 54 vs 5-14, ‘for thy Maker is
thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One
of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called. For the LORD hath
called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth,
when thou wast refused, saith thy God. For a small moment have I forsaken thee;
but with great mercies will I gather thee. In a little wrath I hid my face from
thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee,
saith the LORD thy Redeemer….; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with
thee, nor rebuke thee. For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be
removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant
of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee. O thou
afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will lay thy
stones with fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires. And I will
make thy windows of agates, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy borders of
pleasant stones….. In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be
far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not
come near thee.‘). He wants to fill that emptiness – everywhere you thought
it is a man or woman’s love that can fill it – what you were seeking for can
only begotten from God your Maker. Until you are made whole, you won’t find
true love. Until you return to the Lord, your emptiness can’t be fill up. He is
the one you have been searching for, the only one who can fill the gap, the one
who understands your make up and the only one who knows the right kind of man
or woman for you. Stop searching and receive Jesus into your life. He will make
you beautiful/handsome and he will marry you out to his own, (Isaiah 62 vs 3-5,
says, ‘Thou shalt also be a crown of
glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God. Thou
shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed
Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD
delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married. For as a young man marrieth
a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over
the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.’). There is a God’s choice
for marriage, He has a plan and a purpose for marriage. It is the preparatory
ground for the Church’s expansion.
As you come to Jesus, the blood of Jesus will clean off the
blood stains, this very moment, the penalty of these sins will be blotted out
by Christ’s blood that was shed. He took away the penalty when He was nailed to
the cross and the Bible says, curse be any man that is hanged on the cross,
‘Galatians 3 vs 13’. So Jesus has become the curse or penalty for the sin of
fornication and adultery. Cry out with
true repentance, cut off every of those soul ties and be wash by the blood of Jesus,
(Ezekiel 16 vs 9, ‘Then
washed I thee with water; yea, I thoroughly washed away thy blood from thee,
and I anointed thee with oil.’).
Come into a new covenant with Jesus, (Hebrew 12 vs 22-24, ‘But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God,
the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, To the general
assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the
Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, And to Jesus the
mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh
better things than that of Abel.’)
Be made whole!
Now, slowly declare, ‘I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ
liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of
the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.’ Galatians 2 vs 20.
Thank you, Jesus!
